I agree about the basic Rosemounts, which are a regular tipple at our house. But I picked up the Reserve a week or so ago and was blown away by the value for money. We've been buying Spanish and Italian wines, too, but I'm not so familiar with the different vatrieties of grapes. It's always fun learning, though.

No more Chateau Neuf d'Pape in our house. Ever!

There is a great Spanish wine called "Rioja" which is as good as or better than most of the French Bordeaus. You can get it at any liquor store or wine store for about $10-15. We have been drinking it for some time because it is good and cheaper than the French Wines. Try it I'm sure you will enjoy.
