Great article. There was a not so great article in last Sunday's Philadelphia Inquirer stating that over a thousand Iraqis civilians died in last month's fighting:

Civilian deaths in Baghdad total at least 1,101

This Inquirer article wasn't all that bad from our point of view, since it compared the 1,101 figure with past wars and said it was low. However, after reading the OP here, it is obvious that the Inquirer reporters were misled by the Saddamite leadership still in place in Iraq's hospitals.

De-Saddamification is going to be a big job, if it is indeed done.
