Walsh claims to support the Second AmendmentHe is a liar with regards to his claim. I have personally heard the man support the gun grabbers goals of guns in the hands of police and military only.
Listening to Walsh about protecting ones family is analogious of listening to Rosie Ohdoughnuts about dieting. BTW....Nounomen had some good Teee Veeee debate tips on the SAS/PBS thread you posted this AM. I learned .

The thing is, liberals like Walsh who don't have a clue either as to why the 2nd Amendment was written or what it means honestly don't think they're lying. To them, "supporting" the 2nd Amendment and believing that firearms should only be allowed in the hands of employees of the FedGuv is a perfectly consistent stance.

I have seen other cases where a man loses a child tragically to crime, and then becomes an activist on a related issue. "Cops-can-do-no-wrong" symdrome seems to be common in these folks. Perhaps wishing for more police power is a way of shifting some kind of (undeserved) guilt for failing to protect a child to the government.
