The Ungaggable Teresa Heinz
The Washington Post ^ | May 6, 2003 | Lloyd Grove

Posted on 05/06/2003 5:44:54 AM PDT by Cincinatus

Fabulously wealthy Teresa Heinz, wife of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, dishes an earful to writer Lisa DePaulo in the upcoming issue of Elle magazine -- such as her ambivalence about taking her second husband's surname and her requirement of a prenuptial agreement with the 59-year-old Massachusetts senator, whom she wed in 1995.

"Now, politically, it's going to be Teresa Heinz Kerry, but I don't give a [bleep], you know?" explains the 64-year-old Heinz, who generally uses the surname of the late senator John Heinz (R-Pa.), who was killed in a 1991 plane crash. "There are other things to worry about."

She reminds me of Atty. Gen. John Mitchell's crazy wife, Martha.

I've never read much about this woman and her late husband John Heinz. It appears to me she is just attempting to "clone" her dead husband. Did you read how he died:

After speaking at a news conference in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on April 4, 1991, Heinz was headed to Philadelphia to conduct the first in a series of investigative hearings to examine the telemarketing of medical equipment to Medicare beneficiaries, "Bleeding Medicare Dry: The Great Sales Scam." When the twin-engine plane carrying him and four other adults developed landing-gear trouble, a helicopter was dispatched to examine the problem. Consequently, the helicopter's blades accidentally hit the bottom of the plane, sending both aircraft to the ground and killing everyone on board. Two children, who were playing outside at noon recess at the Merion Elementary School in Montgomery County, were also killed when the wreckage fell on the school ground.

The article reports, 'The candidate, meanwhile, praises the prospective first lady as "nurturing and incredibly loving, and fun, zany, witty. . . . Definitely sexy. Very earthy, sexy, European."'

WAITAMINNIT! Didn't they get all upset because someone in the WH said Kerry "looked French"? Now HE's saying his wife looks "European."

I may get into trouble for this, but, if she is " Very earthy, sexy, European." (European???), at 64, I'm gonna have to start looking a grammas in a different light from now on.

No, I hadn't heard. Sounds like some of the scenes in "The Omen" series when anyone gets close to Damien.

Kerry might be the nominee, but with the un-PC mouth on his wife, he won't last a day.

She is a very mean spirited individual. She refuses to speak to 'little people' and has the money to get away with it.

"And rich. Did I mention rich? Fabulously rich. Not that I married her for money, perish the thought, but she's rich."

All she has to do is issue orders that no one look her directly in the eye, and she'll qualify has hillary! II.
