The writing has been on the wall for a long time. Record companies have been corrupting the playlists of radio stations and MTV. Then the gangsters pushing their products. Death Row Records for instance. If you are a new group you don't stand the same chance that the bands in the earlier years stood. Leftists don't know the importance of making money.

You are correct. And by denouncing all downloaded music as "pirate" or "illegal", they will stop the flow of free and otherwise unheard new music. They are actually trying to stop freedom of expression through music. These people are much more dangerous than even THEY realize.
