Other than a vague recollection that Mr. Mailer once played Boswell to Jack Henry Abbott's Samuel Johnson,ROFLMAO.
He could have stopped right there and Mailer was FINISHED! Still LOL!

"...that Mr. Mailer once played Boswell to Jack Henry Abbott's Samuel Johnson..."Hehe, just one of some choice zingers in this excellent op. Miller ought to do these more often.

>But, what the heck, if you're going to take a stab at something new, why not take a stab at it with Norman Mailer.
Touche Dennia. In not Norman, then OJ. They both share something in common... a penchant for using knives on their wives.

For a rookie op-ed writer, I'd say he hit a homerun ;-)
Let's hope he plays the game often!

Didn't Mailer also get a serial killer released, who continued to kill once he got out?Yep. Jack Henry Abbott. :-)

Awesome again. Dennis Miller appears to be honing his skills as a satirist as he gains more gray hairs.
My only hope now is that he can be scheduled on TV opposite Janeane Garafalo at which point he can remind her that she has successfully made herself more irrelevant than a trash can outside a cheap Chinese restaurant.

I see we all went for the same zinger.......LOL.
I knew it was going to be GREAT after I read that.
I love articles and shows where you have to be "smart" to "get it."
That's why I love Eddie Izzard.

I will tell you this: one of the most enjoyable hours I have EVER seen on TV was the night Dennis Miller was on Phil Donahue's show.
It was so good, I watched the repeat TWICE. I wish I had taped it.
Miller cleaned his clock and left Donahue blubbering.

Dennis is off the mark on the Pro-Life question by a million miles, but he really knows how to turn a phrase.

Other than a vague recollection that Mr. Mailer once played Boswell to Jack Henry Abbott's Samuel Johnson . . .Wham! A brutal, well-aimed blow at the foul belly of the beast.
To: Howlin
Wasn't Donahue canceled within a couple weeks of Miller's appearance?

I like Eddie Izzard too... but I do have some slight problems with his "executive transvestite" idea.

Ironically, Mr. Mailer seems to see everything in the world in terms of black and white, except of course, good and evil. Yep, this about sums up all liberals.
Fantastic lines in this piece Dennis Miller!
Encore, encore!

Mr. Miller is a comedian.Mr. Miller is a well read comedian.

The Great Mailer is currently more out of the loupe than a jeweler with conjunctivitis
Another great one-liner...
