The Russians did most of the Hitler-whippin. Not us. And in my opinion the Brits did at least as much as we did. Probably more.

Never forget the heroic resistance of the Brits in '39-'41, until the US entered the war, courtesy of a Japanese invitation. Had the Battle of Britain gone the wrong way, I shudder to think what course the war would have taken.
