It's on the state quarter, our road signs, on travel brochures, and on our license plate since 1926. This is just wild.

My company had a job at a paper mill in Groveton about 18 months ago. Since Southwest flies into Manchester so cheap and I alrady had a hotel room and a car, I invited the family up to see the sights and the Old Man was one. I'm glad we saw it before it fell. Kind of like loosing a friend.

Do you happen to know where in New Hampshire this scene would be? I would like to drive through that pretty town some time. If you don't know, do you know how I could find out? The puzzle company has been bought out and they might try to dig through their archives for me or not; I haven't tried them yet as all I have is an address and 800# (no website).
Am kind of shocked to hear the news about the Old Man in the Mountain. I would have liked to have seen that someday, too.
