The way I look at it, if God had intended us to get up any earlier, He would have made the sun come up earlier. ;-)

I know lots of people have to get up before daybreak, but I bet not many of them are doing it because they WANT to.

What a lovely letter, Pippin, expressing what each of us here at The Finest feels!
The timing, too, was 'letter perfect,' posted right after yesterday's magnificent event!

The number of prayers for this man are larger in number daily, I'm sure, seeing the growth of him into his destined role in this life, and our perception God indeed hears and grants our prayers for him.

Yes, Lord - look with favor upon this child, that he may bring honor to our people, and our desire to help those around the world who should be free to live as we do - free to live according to Your precepts, as The Founders of America envisioned so long ago.

May we be a credit to the struggle that shaped our wonderful country.
Amen.

Wow, it's starting to get a bit toasty in your neck of the woods! It should be getting much warmer here too, but we will be lucky if it reaches 68 today. It's been this way all spring. Very strange weather!

Wasn't yesterday wonderful?! I enjoyed every minute of it. Only a couple of things could have made it better - I wish my father and my father-in-law could have been here. They would have been so proud to have served under this President. And, I wish I could have seen our pilots flying over in formation returning to Lemoore yesterday. Somehow I missed it!
