Looking forward to the parade tomorrow! I haven't been on the Sit-thread today because I was still doing yardwork all day. Tonight I was on the President Bush speech thread. That was cool. We have lots of resources to celebrate our parade tomorrow. Night!

Watching President Bush interact with the Sailors and Marines today was awesome.

Yep, just saw it at the whitehouse.gov link, I managed to miss the whole thing today, but it brought tears to my eyes to see this speech. I think this is the time that the dark cloud of Clinton's legacy (which is very similar to the "legacy" that dogs leave on fire hydrants) has finally faded away.

Thank God we have Bush instead of Gore! Imagine the way Gore would have responded to 9/11, we would have been flattened within a few months. It wouldn't have just been his fault, it would have been the deadly combination of (a) the naive and dumb nature of current Democratic "leaders" and (b) the cunning, sly, two-faced anti-American nature of our so-called "allies" in Europe, i.e. russia and france.

This is the greatest country on the face of the earth, isn't it? Bar None!!

The Assyrians, Greeks, Romans, Huns, and the Muslims have all held that title at one time or another but We are the Greatest because we seek to FRee peoples and not enslave them or covet their lands.

An U.S. soldier pulls his gun as he directs a crowd back from the site of an explosion which caused several casualties in Baghdad, May 1, 2003. At least three people were killed and more than 18 were badly burned when Iraqis, celebrating the resumption of electricity, shot up a gas tanker sending waves of fire through a gas station.
