A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 5/1/03

Posted on 05/01/2003 7:13:51 PM PDT by rintense
President Bush and First Lady Laura began the day in a ceremony honoring the National Day of Prayer. Bush then headed to San Diego where he co-piloted a Navy Viking jet and landed on the USS Abraham Lincoln, a truly historic moment for American Presidents and our country. The President then spoke to the nation saying that major combat operations in Iraq are over. Bush also took the opportunity to once again thank the men and women of our military. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I was so proud of this man - this leader - this Commander-In-Chief, I was about to bust watching him today.

You should go tell the Dims to go jump off the flight deck. They don't get opportunity at "Equal time".

I mentioned on another thread, but Mr Ohio and I were talking about how much he appeals to BOTH men and women on all kinds of levels.
My husband was sitting on the edge of his seat as President Bush was speaking tonight and was cheering right along with me. We both love him!

This link
http://www.whitehouse.gov/ has all the days happenings, I believe except the landing on the carrier.
It was a beautifully historic day. Dare I say it, but you might be able to catch everything on C-Span's replays.

I think he should model them for Laura when he gets home tomorrow night! I'll bet she'll like them LOTS! ;o)Behave yourself. I know how you can get a little out of hand. :)

Thanks. It does my heart good to know x42 and his crone must be green with envy tonight.
Have any of you seen the "What If" email that's making the rounds? It's a hypothetical State of the Union speech given by W in July 2003. I think all of you would love it, but it's a little rough around the edges. Nothing too bad, but a little mild language. Freepmail me if you'd like to see it, or Rintense, I can FReepmail it to you to see if it passes your posting standards for The Dose.

Replaying on CSpan right now.

LOL, how sad he needs Photoshop to look like a real man.

I wasn't the first one to actually post what I saw! That was Bushfanatic! I just joined the choir! ;)

I did bust......and could have watered half my house plants! What an incredible man we have as President. I sometimes wonder what we did to deserve him........maybe just prayed enough.

PARTY TIME!!! Yep, Lawgirl is unconscious. Soon as I saw the Prez get out of the jet, I knew it would be hours before she woke up.

Thanks for posting the pics of COndi. I don't think many people knew she was there. She looked like she was having a great time.

Lalalalala I'm singing in the Choir.
I was at my Dad's tonight, and I "made" my step-mother watch the speech with me. She was just a gushing (and I even called my Dad earlier to tell him the hub-bub.)
He told me to save all the pictures so he could see them when he gets back in town next weekend. He's a huge Bush Bot.
