A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 5/1/03

President Bush and First Lady Laura began the day in a ceremony honoring the National Day of Prayer. Bush then headed to San Diego where he co-piloted a Navy Viking jet and landed on the USS Abraham Lincoln, a truly historic moment for American Presidents and our country. The President then spoke to the nation saying that major combat operations in Iraq are over. Bush also took the opportunity to once again thank the men and women of our military. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I've never heard that euphemism before! He had trouble getting out of the harness. I'll bet there would have been a stampede of Bush Babes to help him!

Leg harness straps??? WHAT leg harness straps???
I didn't notice!!!
To: ohioWfan
I guarantee you that any woman with any blood at ALL noticed! (And mine is HIGH in hemoglobin!)Ha! I have tremendous respect for him, but I can't help but notice how darned cute he is.
Sidenote -- we had the weather from HEdouble hockey sticks tonight and I hope all is well at his ranch. Storms moved through with huge hail, 90 mph winds and tons of rain. Power went off intermittently, and MOST frustrating of all is that our cable company kept interrupting his speech with stupid weather alerts. More is expected tomorrow. What a homecoming for him, huh?

What a day! Started out with the Prayer Breakfast and Day of Prayer and what a fine finish aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. George Bush makes me proud to be an American as Ronald Reagan did in the '80s. And I have to admit, I'm "jealous" of Laura Bush. She is blessed to be married to such a GREAT man. (And he is blessed to have her at his side.) WONDERFUL DAY! ...except for the Blixie Chix getting cheers instead of jeers...

Well, I meant the costumes that all of the delegates have to wear at that annual conference of Pacific nations. So far, he's been dressed up in some sort of Chinese pajama-looking thing and some kind of linen, Mexican loungewear...
His flight suit, on the other hand, is not a costume. It's his uniform.
And yes, I'm sure Laura hopes he hangs onto it...........and possibly wears it for her, occasionally.
Ahem.
:-D

You know, other people might not understand......I'm not quite sure that I understand myself......but my appreciation for his physical attributes doesn't seem to conflict with my total RESPECT for him and for his morality.
Doesn't that seem weird??
