Stallings is available to come back to Bama. A clever AD would have Stallings placed on retainer for just this sort of situation, as players don't tend to leave when a National Championship coach comes in to save a program.
On the other hand, we are talking about Mal Moore and Paul, Jr., so the odds-on bet would be that they choose the path that most insures turmoil, chaos, confusion, and mediocrity.
