GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME AND MY JEDIS!!!!

We live in the flight path of the military helicopters. They fly over all the time, sometimes in 2s and 3s. They have a very distinctive thumping sound. They are usually not very high up.

The other day, we heard one coming and as is our habit, we all three dashed out into the yard and waved. The helicopter "appeared" to swerve towards us, but then it went on it's way.

JUST NOW, we heard the thumping sound and dashed out into the front yard just like always (we've been doing this since Sept. 11th). THIS TIME, the helicopter turned, and curved around, flew RIGHT OVER our house, made a big circle right over our house!!!

By the time I figured out what they were doing, I had jerked the flag off the front of the house and was waving it fiercely! They completed the loop around our house and then flew back onto their original course and flew away.

It was one of the most momentous things to ever happen to me in my life.
