The Navy said he would be piloting in the air only. No way would they have him take off or land in a plane that he is not rated in. Not to mention he is from the Air Force side of DoD and our pilots don't land on carriers!
This is the #1 pilot from the Shamrock Squadron -- the best of the best!

Fox reported earlier that President Bush want to back seat in a F-18 and the secret service said NO...NO WAY, NO HOW..so this was the only way that he could fly out...
