I just heard them talking about how "CLINTON TALKED TOUGH, BUT HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WHEN THE EMBASSIES GOT BOMBED, THE SHIPS GOT BOMBED. GW .... YOU DON'T MESS WITH."

I said in post 2282 essentially the same thing just moments before that interview:

One showed followship based on the polls (Clinton)

One shows leadership based on what needs to be done (GW Bush)

I think President Bush just won reelection.

He was awesome today. And those men and women in the military would follow him to hell and back.

Fantastic day.

GWB is averaging one regime change every 9 months.

Clinton, Bin Laden, Hussein. Am I missing any?

Sometimes, like today, they get to revert, just a little, including the "boy" in the starboard front seat of that S-3. :)

(God calls us all his little children! : )

The president's speech was great! And kudos to him for taking the time to shake the hands of all the crew members.

Remember when Pres Clinton visited a Navy ship and he and his lackeys took off with all kinds of "souvenirs" from the ship? You can bet that won't be happening tonight. I also love it that you can practically set your watch by President Bush.

President Bush will probably leave souvenirs on the ship, even if only in the form of a memorable, emotional speech. He'll take nothing that isn't given to him by its rightful owner.

I'm sure you were just typing quickly but there is one huge omission in that list: President Reagan.
