Another great one of Condi!
I hope they get some photos of GW working on the plane. Just saw a little clip of him in one of the white jacketed suits with headgear and helmet. Looked like he was helping land some planes!

Man, I bet he was having fun up there!

and then 41 got teary-eyed as he told Glenn that "My son also felt it when America *stopped* praying for him." Oh nooo!!!! We never stopped praying for him - what happened was the leftists crawled out from under the rocks where they'd been hiding since 9/11, and started their shrieking and caterwauling.

The "camo-suited guys" would be Marines.

February 2000. What a hoot! My poor sister-in-law almost got the vapors ;-)

I am pretty sure that memorial service was the National Day of Prayer and Rememberence on Sept 16 2001 in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks . I personally think so far Bush's speech that day at the National Cathedral has been the finest moment of his Presidency.

Wow - that's gonna tick off the Dems, that he actually was at the controls. They'll start carping about it being a "risky scheme" ;-)

It doesn't get much better than this, I'm so happy for President Bush, he looked so happy to be with the crew of the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln
What a great day for America

SOmeone said earlier the "CAmos" were security people....ala Secret Service.

The President's finest moment IMHO was the moment he grabbed that bullhorn and rallied a shaken nation to the fight!

That's cause the CMDR is a gentleman, not that he would actually let the President land. Old Air Force pilots don't know how to crash land airplanes without breaking them. Navy pilots do it every day.

I can't wait to watch it launch!

You should tell your friend about Condi and her father's story.
Back in the 60s I guess it was, when blacks were finally allowed to register to vote in Mississippi, he wanted to register as a democrat, but when he went to do so, they refused to accept his registration!
So he went to the Republicans and registered with them.
And Condi likes to say, "If the Republicans were good enough for my father, they're good enough for me!"

What a great day for America Amen! Everyone on that carrier, including our President, will never forget this wonderful day!

Oh nooo!!!! We never stopped praying for him - what happened was the leftists crawled out from under the rocks where they'd been hiding since 9/11, and started their shrieking and caterwauling. I know a lot of us didn't stop praying - it just really *hurt* to think that Dubya felt the "nation" had stopped.
He should have dropped by here - he could *feel* the love. :-)

I remember hearing that story, but I've never mentioned it to him. I will be sure to do so. (He's probably heard it, but would not want to admit it - like I said, he's a stubborn ol' coot.)

Hey's how's the new ballpark coming? When I left San Diego they were still fighting the flood of lawsuits from that knucklehead.

Haha..I'm just going to spray windex and lemon fresh around the house so the kids think I was cleaning when they get home. LOL!!! Boil some vinegar on the stove. It gives the same effect.. Splash some water on your face and lay on the couch and act tired. Tell them what a hard day you had.Works every time..
