Howlin: I hope he gets to keep the helmet, flight suit, and the plane for his presidential library. That is an historic aircraft, now, after all.

When I was working over at NEL (Naval Electronics Lab) we used to go down to the original by MCRD.
Next time you have one, remember there is someone 2000 miles away green with envy because you are there and I am here.

Again: why do you need the SS on a carrier, in a battle group, 150 miles offshore?Well, Lee Harvey Oswald was a Marine; Tim McVeigh was in the Army, there was that fellow who fragged some officers in the 101 Airborne a few weeks ago in Kuwait, there are two Marines at LeJeune under indictment for sabotaging parachutes...
Need I continue?

Fantastic picture of Condi. I just sent it to an African-American friend of mine who is trying SO hard to stay liberal. He's retired military, then was a Union official until his retirement where I work. I keep telling him he's a "closet conservative", even though he's an old Union man.
To: texasbluebell
Didn't Know about Condi either. Card flew in the plane before him> Is he related to Capt Card in this news snipit?
Bush toured the carrier's operations center, watched jets take off and met with F-18 pilots and with Capt. Kendall L. Card. After his speech, he was having dinner with about 150 enlisted sailors.

I found myself yelling, and I heard the conservative neighbors across the street yelling. They came home for lunch just to watch it. They got back to their office a little late.
