I despise the networks use of those image-ruining graphics. Like we don't know what's happening. They do it all the time. Why do they do it? Give me interactive tv so we can control what we want to see. All I ask is a graphic-free screen.

My rant aside, it's great to have President Bush. He has brought a respect to the Oval Office that has been missing for quite a while. Glad he landed safely. Couldn't see it live so I'll catch it later. Tennesseean for a Texan!!!!!

The Navy Admiral on MSNBC just said that the landing was right in the crosshairs and they picked up the #3 wire -- perfect!

This is fantastic that he is meeting the crews on the deck that bring all the planes in and launch them! What a thrill for these kids!

I don't know how President Bush can take in all the joyful affection and love from so many heroes without being moved to tears. (I couldn't) Can you imagine how humbling and wonderful it must be to be him right now?
