Drudge can surely hyperventilate, can't he? Big deal-- so O'Reilly is better on TV than radio. Earth shaking.

I just drove 2500 across the country listening to a ton of AM radio and there is no one who can shine Rush's shoes. Paul Harvey is like comfort food-always a joy to touch base with-but he does another thing.
Rush is simply an incredibly gifted radio radio talent.

I just heard the "Spin Doctor" 2 nights ago say that he spanks Sean Hannity on the radio...He may not spin, but he can surely weave!

O'Reilly is doing pretty well in Boston.
To: John W
In all fairness to Bill, he is doing pretty good for a big government Statist. He needs to learn from Rush and avoid the drugs and abortion abyss.

If these numbers are accurate I would guess O'Reilly's radio career is going to be short. I often listen to Rush but have never tuned to Bill's show

Rush is entertaining, humorous and likable to the right way more than O'Reily.

Wow. Big win for Rush!
On the occasions I've listened to O'Reilly, he's always had an in-studio sidekick, which annoys me. Radio is personal. Talk to the listeners, not a sychophantic in-studio sidekick.

O'Reilly works on TV because he's good in small doses and when he's sparring with a guest. On the radio, he's just TOO much. And what's the deal with his co-host? Usually, it's a shock jock who has a female sidekick so she lets him know when he's going over teh line. If that's what O'Reilly thinks of himself, then he's as big a blowhard as everyone seems to think he is.

Hilarious comment! O'Reilly is a self-important, self-promoting blowhard. I think he has a Ph.D. in weaving.

I always run over to O'Reilly to see what his topic is, but usually I have Hannity on.
However -- when Sean gets too full of himself and his tiresome up-dates and pushing his night program --down the dial I go - to O'Reilly.

He calls himself a conservative ,yet I have to see his conservative view. He is in favor of abortion, homosexuality and argues with the morality of Christianity (which I thought brought conservative values)

I wonder if they handle the show's time slot as poorly as they do it here in DC. His show is live from noon to 2, but what does his idiot affiliate do in DC? They put on some randon old hour of hte show. In the first week he was on here, I heard the same first hour three times. Well, I gave it the standard two weeks, and the setup here is horrible.
Too bad I hate the top 40 carnival barker(Rush) as well, so it's a bit of sports and comment on the world with the orange man himself, Tony Kornheiser(spelling???)

He doesnt call himself a conservative. He always refutes that when someone says that. He never misses a chance to call himself an "independent". Like he has better thought process or something. Blech.

However -- when Sean gets too full of himself and his tiresome up-dates and pushing his night program --down the dial I go - to O'Reilly. If you really want to do that when Hannity gets to ad hominem, check out Micheal Medved instead. He gives the left callers alot more chances to try to make points, and its more informative.
He's got the all time best radio gimick, after full moons he has conspiracy day where kooks get to call in and explain their bizzare theories and he shoots them down. Very entertaining!
Rush is King of Talk Radio though.

O'Reilly's radio show sucks. I watch his TV show, however.

When I listen to Sean, all I can think of is a Spoiled brat that knows enough to be dangerous. If you call in and give an opinion that doesn't follow his agenda, he cuts you off.
The first time I listened to Hannity was by force, my radio station moved Ken Hamblin to another sister station, which I can't pick up (old radio) Sean was lambasting Harry Browne (Libertarian Party) Brown couldn't get a word in because Sean went on a tyraid! I don't care too much for that. He sounded just like Hillary did a few days ago..." I AM SICK AND TIRED..."

O'Reilly has NEVER called himself a Conservative. He calls himself and Independent.

I like Medved. In spite of his Hollywood connections, he is solid and knows his stuff.
I don't know if I can get him in the East, tho. Can I? (on radio -- not the internet connection)
