With reference to the commandments, depending upon your interpretation, it's either kill or murder, it's relative to your beliefs.

No, it's not open to interpretation. The hebrew word is clearly "murder".

If someone did not read Hebrew, and read the majority of translations to english, and it said...'Thou shalt not kill', how would they interpret this as murder? Do a search, the majority use the word kill, not murder. Is it murder, or killing to follow a countries leader in a war?
