Maybe it's funny. Maybe it's true.
But it could also be why this conservative cringes whenever he hears that "fair and balanced" BS.

If you have a problem with this, then I suggest you read Neil Cavuto's commentary from yesterday.

But it could also be why this conservative cringes whenever he hears that "fair and balanced" BS.I love it - when you have 5 people on the other side of the teeter-totter, you need to jump a little harder to try to balance the overall picture. besides, when FOX interviews left-wingers, they bring on some doozies and actually let them say their piece, only asking them to clarify/explain. The other networks either don't bring on the opposition, or they shout them down and then shmooze the lefties they bring on. I find FOX refreshing and encouraging - they seem intent on letting the world know the real differences between left/right agendas and pointing out the real insanities of many of the lefties - America needs the help and FOX provides some.

Your right, F&F should have burned the American flag as a counter-balance to the Frenchman!

You know, if you have a problem with conservatives being conservatives on TV, then maybe you should stop watching TV.

I think you're failing to realize that "Fox and Friends" is a morning entertainment/news show, it is NOT the Fox version of "Headline News" or anything.
You shouldn't expect it to be any more "fair and balanced" than say, the Today show or Good Morning America or whatever.

"And Fox news lost its credibility in my house when they blacked out any news coverage of the Israeli spy ring reports a few months back."They call it that because it is as close as amy network ever gets to fair and balanced.
Compared to Couric & Co. on NBC, and the usual list of liberals on the other morning shows, they look pretty good. When I turn on the TV for news, I'm not looking for perfect...just the best available. Fox clearly is the best available. It's how TV works, you pick the best thing you can find.
To: ml/nj
Fair is just fine. For any news outlet to strive for balanced is wrong. Why should a point of view that is based on lies (liberalism) be given equal representation (or any representation at all) on a news program?

Fair and balanced doesn't mean EVERY word in every sentence in every segment of every show will be even handed!! I appreciate the "SLANT" and DO NOT cringe when the slogan is repeated every hour or so. After 35 years of BIASED socialist/marxist spewing from every channel available FOX NEWS is WELCOMED and I support it's FAIR AND BALANCED reporting with relish and pride.

FOX is indeed "fair and balanced" as far as letting both sides - all sides - of the political spectrum in American politics have their say. (No other television media outlet can accurately make that claim). Making fun of the French isn't a left/right issue. The Frogs have been messing with America itself, not only the conservatives in America. My leftist friends like French jokes too.
