WASHINGTON The Iraqi lawyer who led U.S. forces to former POW Jessica Lynch has accepted a job offer from Washington lobbying firm The Livingston Group days after the United States granted him asylum.
The company, founded by former U.S. Rep. Bob Livingston, said details on 33-year-old Mohammed Odeh al-Rehaief's new responsibilities were still in the works. A good deal of The Livingston Group's business is international, the company said, and some clients are from Arabic-speaking countries. The company also said al-Rehaief is eager to improve his English, and will take intense language lessons.

Mohammed-
Your actions speak for a large percentage of Muslims who indeed love peace and strive for justice. Unfortunately too many people want to believe the worse of all Muslims and Arabs. You are a shining example of the good side. I wish there were more.
Thank you. I hope you can be a good ambassador to those of your faith who don't believe as you do.

A great reward for a brave man. He could have stood by and done nothing. He chose to do the right thing. Good luck to him. He deserves it.

He deserved the job and a citizenship to this nation...

Boy, talk about a leap out of abject poverty into a wonderful world of rewards. I'm so glad to see this happen. So few people bother to do the right thing, it's great to see rewards flow to this man and his family.

Isn't publishing his name endangering his life? How does the Livingstone Group know that some 'client' from an 'Arabis speaking country' won't be carrying out a hit on al-Rehaief for being decent and heroic....everything the Arab 'street' hates most??

There was a counter=story to this circulating on radio especially 3 or 4 days ago that it was not an Iraqi lawyer but a member of Israeli Mossad who was the one who led American soldiers to Jessica Lynch. What ever happened to this story? Was it bogus?

What ever happened to this story? Was it bogus? It was probably meant as further corrobarating evidence that Pfc. Lynch was where Mohammed said she was. Wouldn't it be funny if she meets Mohammed and says, "this isn't the guy who visited me in the hospital." D'oh!
