I challenge anyone to prove that the palaces were not in the name of the Iraqi state. I left them a long time ago to live in a small house. LOL!

Saddam had no property in his own name. I challenge anyone to prove that the palaces were not in the name of the Iraqi state. I left them a long time ago to live in a small house."Is he suggesting that he built all 23(?) palaces and furnished them with looted Iraqi money for the benefit of the people living on $1 a day? "A long time ago" is relative. In this case it was April 9th. Small is also relative. When you are used to living in 23 palaces most of which are as big as a castle, a 7,500 square foot villa in France seems cozy.

"It sounds like Saddam's ghostwriter at work"I would think that the odds of this being written by Saddam are about the same as the odds that the sun will burn out today.

Cleaned up lyrics to Saddam's song from the "South Park" movie, "I Can Change"
Some people say that I'm a bad guy..
They may be right, they may be right.
But it's not as if I don't try..
I just [mess] up, try as I might
But I can change, I can change!
I can learn to keep my promises, I swear it!
I'll open up my heart and I will share it..
Any minute now I will be born again!
Yes I can change, I can change!
I know I've been a dirty little [person]
I like to kill! I like to maim! Yes, I'm insane!
But it's okay, 'COS I CAN CHANGE!!
It's not my fault that I'm so evil..
It's society, society.
You see my parents were sometimes abusive..
And it made, a [jerk] of me.
But I can change, I can change!
Satan: But what if you never change? What if you remain a sandy little [jerk]?
Hey Satan! Don't be such a twit
Mother Teresa won't have [anything] on me!
Here I am, just watch me change..
Here you go, I'm changing!

I heard an Iraqi this morning say that the text doesn't sound like saddam at all. No kidding. The "small house" may be interpreted to mean dirt that houses his ashes.

>As Hulagu entered Baghdad, so the criminal Bush entered..."
HULAGU KHAN --
1217 - 1265
Mongol Ruler
The grandson of Genghis Khan Hulagu Khan received the western provinces of the Mongol Empire. Hulagu Khan conquered Persia, eliminated the Abbasid caliphate, destroyed Baghdad ( a city of a million inhabitants) and established the Mongol empire of the Il-Khans in Persia. After the conquest of Aleppo and Damascus the advance of the Mongols into Egypt was broken by the bravery of the Mamluks (mercenary slaves [!] from the Black Sea region) in 1260.

I left them a long time ago to live in a small house."I only kept the $600 million in my small house for the good of the Iraqi people. I fully intended, as allah is my witness, to distibute that money to the people. The zionist occupation stopped me, and now they have stolen that money from you, my Iraqi people."

Henry Kissinger said Saddam never slept in one place for two nights as he was paranoid and also smart. He would stay in civilian residences to avoid detection. If he moved out of his palaces, it was to stay alive! Kissinger said he did not believe Saddam would ever go into exile to another country because he was so paranoid.
