If he is Navy, he is not a Captain. I thought I read he was a Lieutenant Commander He is a Navy Captain, 0-6, but was a Lt. Commander (0-4) when shot down.

Ok, that explains all the "captain" talk. I thought he was Navy and I have seen in print calling him both a captain and Lt. Cmdr. So, the confusion for this old grunt. Thanks. Hooah.
