Keepandbeararms.com and the members of the GOA have been attacking the NRA for some time now. The CSG which is a affiliate of the GOA still asked for help from members of the NRA in Georgia with a trigger lock law.
I'm still waiting for the day when the members of the GOA can quit mentioning the NRA and spend more time in explaining what they do instead of constantly worrying about the NRA.

Most *members* of the NRA are still honest Americans. They have been compromised by their leadership.
Does an unknown Iraqi policeman have more rights to freedom than we? I don't know the answer to that one, but I do know that I have less rights than my grandfathers, or even my father, did as young adults. I can't as easily or as cheaply buy what they could have gone to the corner hardware store to get, without a background check or permit. Hell, before 1968 anyone could mail order anything except a machine gun. I wasn't around then, but in the 1950's and early 1960s street crime was extremely low - despite the unrestricted availability of all guns (and for a pittance, too - check out some old microfilms of Shotgun News and then cry when you see the prices).
I will not be satisfied until I can buy what my grandfathers had the right to buy, and with the same lack of regulatory hoops that they enjoyed. Until then, we are not free.
