What makes you think we had the votes to stop gun control for the last forty years? You have 95% of the gunowers sitting on their lazy do-nothing #ss voting the way their union tells them to do. Do you think the NRA has a magic vote machine that stops anti-gun Bills?

We've been damn lucky to stop as many gun Bills as we did. Now that we have a majority in the House and Senate, we can go on the offensive which is something we couldn't do before.
