Let me translate into "bigotspeak" what Sen. Rick Santorum meant when he compared gays to bigamists, polygamists and practitioners of incest and adultery.
Translated: Hey, I place you in the same category as all those scummy people I just mentioned. Oh, and if you act on who you are, you're also a criminal.

I keep asking, but nobody is answering.
Santorum said that if consensual sex is acceptable because it is a privacy issue, then bigamy, polygamy, adultery, and incest are also acceptable when consensual and performed in private. The implication was that this was a reason to keep hay sex illegal because all 5 sex acts are immoral.
Why does this statement bother the gays? Is it because the other 4 are immoral but gay sex is moral?
Somebody name one world religion in which this is considered true.
If you aren't religious then Santorum's statement was empty.
If you are religious then you must believe homosexuality is immoral.
In either case, Santorum's statement was no more than the truth and nothing to be upset about.
So why are the gays so upset?
Can anyone answer this question?
Shalom.

"Homophobe" is just a slur used by the left to condemn and intimdate rather than discuss and debate. The fact that gayness is unnatural is just science, so they must reduce themselves to meaness if they are going ot have a chance at winning the debate.
What they are finding out is just what Saddam recently learned. Forced allegiance is flimsy allegiance. They might shut down conversation for a time, but they are not restructuring human conscience and the ideals of right and wrong. We all know the truth.

If homosexuals would have more control over what goes in and comes out of their mouths, they would not create nearly as many problems for themselves as they do.

Descending as it does from the falsehood that Rick Santorum actually said any of the things this self-loathing rage-and-hatred driven deviant every word of this poofter's psychopathologically-projected vomitus is a lie.

Gay men do not want to be monogamous. It is only said for propaganda purposes!
A gay doctor in Seattle puts it this way, "non-relationship sex have been important, even normative hallmarks of the gay community"
Paul Feldman, who replied to the doctor had this to say, "(we should)reaffirm ourselves as sexual beings. It's not how many people you **** (profanity), it's how you do it..." Mr. Feldman didn't think the prescription for gays to be in committed relationships was helpful...saying, " And, come on, do you really think sport****ing (same profanity) is going away any time soon, no matter what you or anyone else says about it?"
quoted from this site: http://www.metrokc.gov/health/glbt/drbob/efforts.htm
These are the leaders in the gay community. These people should not have influence over any child!
Speaking of which, I believe it was a "committed" gay couple who were trusted by Jesse Dirshising's mother.

Two examples do not represent the whole. And straight men can also claim, for propaganda purposes, that they want to be monogamous in order to get married.

Sounds like he is a heterophobe.

"We Kentuckians got rid of that antiquated sodomy law years ago. " Under our Constitution that's how it's done- by the people not by the courts.
The federal court just wasn't given the power to "find" new interpretations of the Constitution to please people (that's the Legislature's job LOL!).

No emmey not singling anyone out...homosexuality was what the discussion was about...
If you would like me to comment on sin in general or one at a time I would be happy to
Homosexuality is an abomination...
Divorce is made provison for..and not a sin...if you have read your bible you would know that
Adultery, Beastiality, Theft, murder, etc etc are also sins...
The worshiping of false idols is also a sin...should it be illegal...yes it should....is it? depends...in some areas it is...
The point is in areas in which homosexuality is illegal...should the supreme court over ride the law of the land and make it legal?
Duh!

It's true he was advocating a states-right position, but he ultimately believes the state has an interest in the private affairs of consenting adults. And if they choose to enforce or enact moral codes, as many states did in the past and some continue to do, it is their right as covered under the 10th Amendment.

Thank you for a rational post. The point of Santorum's statement was not regarding the morality of the various acts. The point was that if states cannot outlaw an act because it is "private" then they cannot outlaw ANY private acts.

Keep your head in the sand if you want, but the fact is, that it is a very unhealthy practice.
In his book, Surviving AIDS (New York: HarperCollins, 1990), pop singer Michael Callen wrote,
"I calculated that since becoming sexually active in 1973, I had racked up more than three thousand different sexual partners in bathhouses, back rooms, meat racks, and tearooms. As a consequence I also had the following sexually transmitted diseases, many more than once: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, non-A/non-B hepatitis; herpes simplex Types I and II; venereal warts; giardia lamblia and entamoeba histolytica; shigella flexneri and salmonella; syphilis; gonorrhea; nonspecific urethritis; chlamydia; cytomegalovirus (CMV), and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) mononucleosis; and eventually cryptosporidiosis.
AIDS was first noted in medical journals as "GRID" = Gay Related Immunodeficiency Disease; because it was passed so quickly and brought into this country by gay men. Every case studied at the CDC in 1981 could be traced to the single index case, called "Patient Zero", a French Canadian flight attendant named, Gaetan Dugas.
