If anyone watches more than two segments of H&C, they would know that the guest is questioned separately by each.

I still expect one or the other to "jump in", but I guess that's part of the show's formula that sets it apart from,
say, John McLaughlin, or just about any of the other "talking heads" shows.

IMHO, it's jealousy on the part of wannabe talking heads that Colmes has been making it so far as a
liberal pundit, for want of a better term. They cannot understand that there are other relevant opinions that the "masses"
would like to hear, too.

Colmes is a liberal, ergo in denial. That's part and parcel of being a liberal. Now, there's many more liberals who are dishonest, but they justify their dishonesty, as the Klintoons do, by telling themselves, their whole life time, that they're entitled, or they know better. It's all about ego, power, and greed with those kind of folks. Colmes isn't like those folks. He's just not quite gotten to the reality party of life; socialism doesn't work, no matter how good you think it could be, or fair, or right. That's where I think Alan's coming from.

Drudge made a big deal about it on radio last night, then had a 'developing" kicker on his web which disappeared. Strange, because it is a good story. The only place it was reported besides Drudge, as far as I know, was on Fox and Friends.

Lost any respect I still had for Hannity when he suggested for a few weeks that Abner Louima suffered his injuries while having homosexual sex. He had on Volpe the garbage of a human being's father on every day back then.

So WHAT is the story with what happened to Franken? Obviously he did get punched out but I've seen no more details about the incident. And WHO did punch out Franken? So far, Franken isn't saying a thing.

I have to reluctantly agree that Sean has lost a lot of influence on me as a talk show listener.

He relies too much on the emotional "sucker-punch" instead of a quick, incisive recitation of fact.

It is easy to discern when Sean thinks he's losing a debate...he immediately charges the caller or guest with being "Liberal"...and caller after caller have effectively refuted this charge.

Too often, what he lacks in lightning he makes up for with thunder. This just doesn't cut it with a thinking audience.

This is nothing but an ad hominem attack, and is beneath what I expected out of Hannity.

JUST ONE MAN'S OPINION (and frankly, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has arrived at the same conclusion).

All I know is that on Sunday night's Drudge radio show, Matt said that he had personally witnessed Frankenstein staggering around, holding a napkin to his chin, bleeding. This was AFTER (and I don't know that Drudge was an eyewitness to this) Franken went around the dinner party accosting conservatives in what appeared to be an "influenced" state of mind.

At one point Franken told Wolfowitz something to the effect that Clinton's army had done a good job in Iraq, to which Wolfowitz (rightly IMHO) replied "F*** you."

There was one point at which Frankenstein accosted someone , and to quote Drudge...and I emphasize..."It wasn't pretty."

I infer that it was Brian Kilmeade.

The reason I believe Kilmeade punched Frankenstein is:

a) Someone earlier on this thread said that on Fox & Friends, a panelist told BK something like, "That's when you got up and punched Al Franken."

b) Chins don't start bleeding spontaneously.

My theory on why all the hush-hush is that there is a huge lawsuit underway and NO ONE wants any part of it.
