Some white women feel they own American Indians. In their hearts they feel responsible for Indians, and see them as poor and needy children whom they must love and save. But is the beautiful white women savior really helping Indians today?

She’s certainly different from her historical counterpart. She’s on the same mission to save the “dusky heathen” through her superior social and racial status. But she doesn’t bring the Bible and Christian education with her any more, like she did in Edwin H. Blashfield’s “Spirit of the West,” the famous historical mural painted on the wall of the Governor’s office in Pierre, South Dakota. In 1910, the only solution for Indian problems was Christian religion and learning.

Blashfield’s paintings typically symbolized westward progress as great white women, bringing civilization to the frontier. “Spirit of the West” is a magnificent angel, lording over the small and weak Indians. Indian women and children are crushed under her feet, looking like terrorized, lost souls in the flames of a Hieronymus Bosch version of Dante’s Inferno. Indian men simply stand in the dim background, looking bewildered and silent.

But today’s white women savior brings a softer touch. She brings the comfort of the New Age philosophy, which idolizes traditional Indian ways. She brings the financial support from communists who aggrandize Indian failure for subversive, anti-American purposes. She confirms the Indian ‘where he is,’ like modern feminists theologians, completely helpless in her hands, completely dependent on her maternal provision.

But today’s great white woman savior comes to the reservation without Christ, without courage, and without vision. She brings salvation in her own flesh.

Promiscuity often follows in her train, and the effect is viscerally divisive among Indian people. This white woman is a sexual intrusion into the Indian community, and she causes alienation between Indian women and Indian men. Indian women and children are crushed beneath the white women’s power, and degraded to the lowest self-esteem. And Indian men cling helplessly to her white flowing robes, seduced by her winsome wiles. They are like lost children in the arms of a saving mother.

But salvation through interracial sex and marriage is always an ill-founded and ill-fated concept of social change. It provides no lasting improvement for Indians, the weaker, smaller race, but instead creates a permanent breach of trust and commitment between Indian women and Indian men. It damages Indian people deeply.

The Indian race, so few in number, is already in jeopardy. Europeans are now making a business out of having Indian children here, then taking them to Europe to start “tribes.” Indians scarcely trust each other anymore. Intermarriage is a bloodless annihilation, finishing what the Indian wars started a century ago—genocide of the Indian race.

The scintillating white women savior presses on, with her omniscient, liberal agenda, and her presumptive authority over all Indians.

I encountered such a woman at Gonzaga University, (April 23, 2003), after I presented a speech, “How the Left Stole the Indian Image.” It was about Communism, and why the modern American Indian political identity was fostered and financed by professional Communist leaders.

This women did not attend the speech, but came in during the question/answer period. She started contradicting everything I’d said to other students. She wanted everyone to understand that I, an Indian male, did not know what I was talking about, and the she, the white women savior, had complete authority on the subject of Indians, and authority over me.

Afterward, Vanessa Joy, student reporter for the Gonzaga Bulletin, tried to find out who she was, since the woman would not give her name (Kathleen Curr), or any contact information. She’d also refused to come to the microphone provided by C-Span (who taped the speech and Q&A period). The women was content to speak as the great “Spirit of the West,” the savior of Indians, and shunned the humiliation of a personal name.

My Sioux woman friend in South Dakota has known many such saviors. Betty Ann Gross, well known for her stunning honesty (Sports Illustrated, March 4, 2002, “The Indian Wars”), took issue with former Governor Janklow over that Blashfield mural in the governor’s office. He reconsidered.

Then the tears of a 98-year-old Sioux woman from Crow Creek finished the argument. She cried when she saw it. In 1999, the mural was covered.

May all white women saviors be covered. Indian women and Indian men may find each other again when the white women is out of sight.

She’s one mascot nobody needs.

I'd like to have heard your speech, sounds very interesting. It would be great if you'd post a thread on it here. As to the know-it-all Hillary-Clinton wannabe, that type doesn't just pick on Indians. Conservatives of all ethnics groups, for instance, are backwards rednecks in need of superior wisdom (theirs).

Hey, don't feel like you're being singled out there, Dave. Those harpies are doing that to everybody. Combine the 'vision of the anointed' that comes standard with leftist politics, along with the self-important arrogance — vanity, really — that some women confuse with 'assertiveness,' and you've got a real terror on your hands.

You should see what they've done to our schools. They aren't just saving Indians, you know. They're saving boys too, from themselves, by turning them into much more sensible girls. Or at least they are trying to... it doesn't seem to be working. Instead it seems to be causing a lot of confusion and resentment. Sorta like you're describing between men and women in your tribe.

I like to think of societies and cultures as living organisms. They often display something like an immune system that comes around eventually to attack and neutralize ideological tumors. I've wondered for a long time what sort of antibodies would arrive to deal with white female supremacy.

By the way, that Tiakosin fellow (in one of the German links) is the Lakota man I encountered at Nyack, NY, who was protesting the Indian logo of the high school. He is involved with Communist organizations, and has spent a lot of time in Europe.

I was wondering how to work this "story" into the mix.

Was watching the old James Stewart, Jeff Chandler, Debra Paget movie "BROKEN ARROW" other than having most of the "INDIAN" talking roles going to painted up white people, I found ONE other interesting point..

You see the exact same attitude with regard to African-Americans. "Keep them on the plantation" would be the equivalent cliche. It's part of a dehumanizing Democrat strategy to perpetuate a dependent voter base.

As a conservative white woman, I have to suggest that the path of her destruction goes beyond white or Indian males and reaches over to women as well. She is constantly battling against nature and reality. She makes it her life work to convince other women and girls that abortion is not only a good thing for women but that it is the mighty key to women's freedom --never mind the fact that it is emotionally and physically devistating for many women. And she is constantly battling against men in general, trying to prove that women are the same as men, ignoring first and second sexual characteristics and brainwashing everyone into believing that gender (like Judeo-Christian morals) was invented by men to suppress women. The result of this sort of brainwashing ultimately hurts women. These feminists grow old and alone and waste away too much of their youth because all the simple and basic things in life are too complicated for them.

There are a lot of sell-out white women out there that have been brainwashed in order to give them a deep-seeded white guilt.

The white savior woman thinks that if she bangs enough guys, the whole rainbow coalition, that she'll atone for her sins of being a white devil woman.

I'm sure David Yeagley realizes how confused these women are, but don't worry David, these sell-out white girls are not necessarily targeting indians specifically.
