WHy do the liberals feel it's OK to trash W publicly all the time? They do it at work, they do it at church. If I argue with them I end up being the one who's in the wrong.

Did anybody catch what the hecklers said?

NOT hecklers. They LOVE him. I am transfixed by his speech and have tears in my eyes as you can tell the audience is overwhelmed with gratitude to President Bush and love for him and our country.

They chanted "USA" over and over at one point.

I loved the story about the Iraqi soldier in the 101st Airborn who cried when he was over there and saw the people being liberated. They told him "We don't believe it!" He said "Believe it!"

THat was an extremely poor choice of words on my part.

I'm guessing that this speech will be one of the highlights of President Bush's career, one that he will always remember. :-)

"The regime let medical supplies and food sit in buildings while the people and children were sick and died."

$200 million dollars worth of medicine sitting in a warehouse (I've repeated that for the last two weeks since it was found but not reported over and over by our dense and some malicious media here).

He emphasized the water, food and medicine situation was in horrible shape well before this conflict began. (He needed to point this out, because again some in our media speak of water, food and medicine problems as if they are a result of the war. That is so wrong.)

He said there are half the hospitals than existed back in 1991.

Seventy percent of schools functioning. One quarter of children not in school.

Now he's outlining the help we are providing and will continue to provide as we help them get back on their feet.

Just said economic sanctions are pointless. Rousing applause. Calls on the UN.

Building new Iraq will take time

In a ntion where dictator treated himself to grand palaces, 4 out 10 citizens did not have clean water to drink.

1/2 million children malnourished while the regime exported milk, dates, food supplies.

1 in 80 children dying before age of 5 while meds sat in warehouses.

Iraq has only 1/2 as many hospitals as they had in 1990

1/4 Iraqi kids not in school at all. Schools run down.

We are helping Iraqi people fix these things and we will stand with them to help them defeat the dictators legacy.

Coalition medical teams helping out, including man on USS Comfort "They treat us like family". Iraqi newborns being cared for by Coalition nurses

Iraqi oil flowing now to fuel Iraq power plants. 80 % of city has flowing water.

Basra: Presidental Palace there now a water purification station.

Day by day, hour by hour, life by Iraq is getting better for the citizens.

Much work to be done. Jay Garner there to help with specific long term goals.

Congress allocation of 2.5 mil plus for Iraq reconstruction.

Working to find hoodlums who ravished the museums.

We deplore the actions of those who ravished the museums...bring them to justice. (applause, whistles).

Power plants...which need to modernized, repaired, or are obsolete. Working to make drining water clean and dependable.

Health care for infirmed and preganant women. iraqi docs and nurses now back to work. Working to ensure there are meds and facitlities.

Supplies and equipment for education, to ensure schools are safe and clean. Make sure schools are used for reading, not regime propgansa.

Now that iraq is free, economic sactions are pointless (applause, stadning O)

Time for the UN to lift sanctions so the Iraqis can build their own properity.

Iraqi-Americans shared the hope of the Iraqi people, they kept the faith, that there would be peace and prosperity there.

It will be a hard journey, but at every step of the way, Iraq will have a steady friend in the American people.

May God continue to Bless the USA, and Long Live a Free Iraq!
