I think the guy in Ft. Collins was there because they only had 2 WIB (or just 1? - I'm not sure) and the sign needed 3 to hold it up.

I figured it was some flaky leftist group. Still, the phrase "women in black" did make me think of Orthodox nuns, whose habits are all black.
We had a few jokes about "Men in Black, III" at our Pascha feast: all the clergy (from the readers, to your humble poster, a subdeacon, to the priest) were in our cassocks.
