it's not acceptable, it's not polite and it is not the correct way of addressing the President.

Exactly. For variety's sake, you have to alternate and mix up what you call people you speak of frequently. It would sound silly to constantly say President Bush, this, President Bush that. Heck, those people on F&F give the president more respect than a lot of people on FR.
