I could be totally and unnecessarily mistrustful of the press (yeah, right), but it *seemed* to me that the audience was embarrassed by Bloom's final pronouncement of his love for his wife, kids, and JESUS. Yes, they seemed uncomfortable to me when they panned the audience--subdued applause at that point. I think the press could have lived with the idea that he loved his family, but the fact that he loved Jesus was a little too much to take. I could be reading into their reaction, but I got the feeling that if they clapped too enthusiastically at that end, that it might have been deemed an affirmation of religion. Can't have that. Just a gut feeling--did anyone else sense that?

I had no idea that Kelsey Graham was conservative--what a revelation. I might have to start watching Frazier now!

The drummer just picked his nose on National TV. I didn't see that.
Finger or Drumstick?
I wonder if Hole_in_One captured it.

Yes, he's an outspoken conservative and supporter of the President.
He came to the Inauguration in 2001.
