According to the papers, an Al Qaeda envoy met with Baghdad in March 1998 to create a relationship based upon a mutual hate of the United States and Saudi Arabia.
An unidenfiied Western Intelligence Source describes the find of intelligence (linking Saddam and Al Qaeda) as 'sensational.'

You would think, after finding themselves on the wrong side of history so often, that the libs would change their ways. Then again, one of the definitions of intelligence is an ability to adapt and change when circumstances change. I guess that explains it.
