And Dr. Anderson says in this article that it isn't spreading like wildfire. This is consistent with the other British doctor, virologist John Oxford, who says "It is a plodder like mumps, not a greyhound like measles."

Folks, perfection doesn't happen in this life, but Canada has done good. I think we will do good too, but it is not preordained. Keeping quarantine requires trust in government, which over the long course of history has been more common in Canada than here. I long ago read in a history of the war of 1812 that this is because we freed ourselves from our colonial government, while the source of Canada's freedom, or at least of its independence from the US, is its own colonial government. They believe in order, we believe in revolution. Anyway, that's the theory.
