I wonder if Kadhem al-Husseini al-Haeri remembers our 444 days as well as we do?

OK, time for an open suggestion to President Bush and Secretary Rumsfield.
It's time for our Special Forces guys to start taking out every fifth "Shiite Mullah" in Iraq, as in send them to get their 72 virgins. Make it look like an accident but if 60 or 70 of them slip on camel crap next week and break their neck, the rest will get the message.
If every fifth doesn't work take it down to every other Mullah.

I guess Iran still hasn't gotten the message that we mean business. I worry that they will stir up these fanatics into a frenzy that will be tough to control. Hard to talk rationally with people who haven't advance one bit since the 12th century.

The Shiites must have a real desire for cluster bombs.

I believe this situation will tell us how much of a real world difference there is between radical Islam and the more generic so called religion of peace. I contend that in the long run there isn't that much difference and these mullahs are going to be a real problem with the 60% Shiite population. We're going to have to confront these guys directly before any meaningful progress can be made.

I'm glad. Let Iran rear their head. Then it will justify a merciless attack on the mullahs by US forces and a final destruction of the tyranny.

"The Shiites are not the only ones vying for power in the wake of the American invasion, hoping to secure positions from which they will not be easily dislodged when the United States sets up a provisional government in Iraq."
"We are not concerned with what the Americans think of us," he said. "We do not deal with the Americans whatsoever."
These two statements written in the New York Times are ridiculous. As if any of these animals would last a week if they crossed the line with us. Well, at least they are easier to identify...

The Iranians are asking for it. They really are. For the safety of the free people of the world, their bloodthirsty religion must be eradicated.
It's the truth, and everyone knows it.

Yes, isn't the NYT just salivating at the prospect of Iran exerting itself into Iraq and collapsing all the plans for a democracy in Iraq.
Like Rush keeps saying ... these people have positioned themselves to prosper only if AMERICA LOSES.
The NYT would like nothing better than to trumphet the defeat of "Bush's War" in Iraq ... I can just hear it now. LOOKS LIKE SOME HEAVY DUTY PRAYING IS IN ORDER. CRY PEACE!!

The Iranian mullahs are seizing the opportunity to extend and export their fading power in their homeland into a neighboring land. Even an "Iranian-style" fundamentalist
Shi'ite government in Iraq won't go very far towards shoring up the mullah's situation within Iran. As I said on another thread, for them to think of doing this would be like America, on the eve of the Civil War in 1861, looking up at the sky and seeing the stars, and entertaining the notion that we should start a space program.

It's simple as, no Islamo-fascist government or you become food for worms.
Send out the leaflets...

Take all this with a large grain of salt. They are and have been trying to do just this but are failing. In the recent pilgrimage, the clerics had trucks with loudspeakers to try and incite anti-American riots, but only gathered 3,000 out of 1,000,000. Which is why you hear a lot more conciliation out of the Iraqi clerics. They have totally misjudged the Iraqi people. The Iraqis know what they have and what they can lose. Remember, there has been as much anti-Iran propaganda in Iraq as anti-American before the war. They fought a war with Iran and there is no love for the Iranian clerics who fought them.
