No - if one of us came across a thread that was getting contentious(and many were in those days), the Hail Goode Fellows Summons would go forth....
We would merely interject our banter back and forth to distract them and interrupt the flow!
They would soon tire - forget for the moment to be vile and ugly..:))
Our intent was to 'entertain' them into civility or 'Cease Fire,' whichever came first.
