What advice might that be, I wonder. "Well Tony, first ya say to the girl ' I could really help ya out babe, I have a friend who owns Revlon'...then if that dont work ya hint that you know some really tough guys who could really mess them up..and if they still dont come across..."

No. The advice would be reminiscent of the old audiotape of slick with jennifer flowers: They can't prove a thing as long as you say it never happened. They ain't got nuthin.".

"We need a law to reign in..."

It is pitiful that extreme measures are necessary. Only the classless, ONLY THE CLASSLESS, would have to be TOLD!!

Clinton is actively sabotaging GW & Co. by his actions. It is hard not to wish ill on someone, but this man is very hard to tolerate.

I am disappointed in Blair!

Do you remember the article from earlier in the week about Blair wanting to head the EU? Inside the article there was a statment that Bush was supporting Blair for that position. At the time I thought that a somewhat odd way for Bush to thank Blair, given as how an endorsement by Bush might not play so well with the European pol's. Perhaps it was actually intended as a subtle bit of payback?

So what's your point?

No one denies Blair leans left .. he always has ..

What I and others give Blair credit for is standing by our country in this war with Iraq .. he took a lot of heat for doing so

This only proves that Blair on Clinton is a dunce and he's brilliant on the partnering with Bush on Iraq. Go figure, on any given day extremes happen.

The question now is why are we still hearing about Bill Clinton? No matter what his politics we all know him as a lying, cheating, adulterer and alledged rapist just for starters. Can anyone really trust his judgement?

"..meeting secretly with foreign leaders"

Didn't Bill/Hillary dine recently in Santo Domingo with Chretien? I am so mad at those 2 it is scary! Why doesnt' someone with nads, like Newt, speak out about the sabotage and undermining of this adm. by ex-Presidents?

Just typical. Nobody will say anything cause they are afraid to - chickensh--s!

I wonder if he's tied in with the Oil for Food Program?

Something tells me that is a very good possibility

I also wonder what associates of Bill and Hillary are promising OPEC leaders if they will keep oil prices high, and thus assist in delaying economic recovery.

Yes, I do remember that article. I don't think it will happen though. France, for one, would never stand for it.

And imagine if Blair had had to get the approval of the EU to send troops.

I wonder if FBI could still go after Rich for illegal trading oil with Iraq? That might explain too why there were so many weapon caches on every corner and inch of Iraq.

Clinton: Money talks and criminals walk
By Eric S. Margolis

LOS ANGELES - William Clinton did not leave the White House. He oozed out of it, leaving a trail of reeking corruption that left even his most faithful defenders gagging in revulsion.

First, to escape prosecution for perjury in the Monica Lewinsky case, Clinton admitted lying under oath, had his law license suspended, and paid a US$25,000 fine.

Next, the Clintons made off with $180,000 of White House furnishings, and a truckload of gifts from influence-seekers, including expensive tables from a certain Mrs. Denise Rich.

Then, at midnight on his last day in office, Clinton pardoned 140 criminals. Drug dealers formed the largest number, followed by mail fraudsters, assorted crooks, even a con-man I had encountered a decade ago.

Among the felons Clinton pardoned were his cocaine-dealing brother, Roger; Whitewater business partner and sometime former lover, Susan McDougal; and disgraced former CIA Director, John Deutch.

Susan McDougal's refusal to testify to Whitewater investigators saved Bill and Hillary Clinton from indictment for fraud. Charges against Deutch have not been fully revealed.

Clinton pardoned four men from a Hassidic community in upstate New York who had swindled the US government of millions. By sheer coincidence, Hillary Clinton won all the community's votes in her senate race.

So far, so bad. Then came the Marc Rich bombshell. Clinton rushed through a pardon for Rich, a fugitive, billionaire financier who was on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List. Rich, and partner Pincus Green, fled to Switzerland in 1983 as US federal prosecutors were about to arrest them for massive fraud, tax evasion, illegal arms and oil deals with Iran, Iraq, and Libya.

POINT IS BLAIR IS A IDIOT IF HE THINKS ITS GREAT TO BRAG IN AND IN HIS OWN WORDS.....

I'm lucky to count President Clinton as a friend. We try to see each other when he is in Britain, with Cherie and Hillary too, who are also friends. And we catch up on the phone as well from time to time.

....
Now truth is no freeper would ever be caught saying that or being friends with someone who says or thinks like that. Would they? In fact Freepers would slam someone that said that. Right?

Call me crazy, but I truly believe Bush will deal with Clinton. They thought Bush was crazy going after Saddam and his host of 55+.

Bush has handled himself wisely in accomplishing much in spite of their moves. My prayer is for Bush's protection and his family in doing what must be done.

The Atlantic Monthly has one of their covers about Clinton: "Post-President For Life." What the heck is he going to do with his life now?

Evidently it's okay to QUOTE Bill Clinton if you need it to bash Tony Blair though.

See for yourself
