HAIL WEST OF HOUSTON, TEXAS
Self | April 24, 2003 | Self

Posted on 04/24/2003 8:18:39 AM PDT by Illbay

We've just had a pretty substantial hailstorm here in Katy, about 25 miles west of the center of Houston.

Hailstones about marble-sized, coming down pretty heavily.

Take cover, Houston folks!

Cypress is northeast of Katy. I think they might be getting hit even harder.

Howdy, neighbor! I'm down Post Oak across from Tony's, in the building that has a two-headed statue in front of it.

Howdy back! I know where you are! It seems we're getting some rain now but I don't think we'll get it too badly. Just as long as it clears up before time to leave! I'm off Westheimer and Yorktown -

Looks pretty bad over past the Westin, to the east of town - maybe the rough part has gone a bit north of us here.

Did you hear about the Aggies that drowned in the back of the truck when it went off the bridge? They couldn't get the tailgate down.

Did you hear about the Aggies liberals that drowned in the back of the truck when it went off the bridge? They couldn't get the tailgate down.

I am in Lake Jackson south of you, near the gulf coast. Skies are clear, but we know we are in for a thunder boomer today. Thanks for the warning! I won't take the Porsche out of the garage, I will drive the clunker!
