I'm extremely pleased to see such an excellant presentation.

It is my view that Alamo Girl's work is an important document and must be preserved for the use of American historians. There can be all the legacy building efforts that money can buy, but a months sorting through all the AG information will refute them all.

Free Republic may be the foot note as the original source for this wonderful work.

Thank you so much for all the encouragements! Indeed, the DSL exists because of Free Republic - the contents derive from the contributions of Freepers on this forum. The only reason it is not a thread on this website is that it became much too large to handle.

Exactly, and as you mention, that is precisely why the archive is so important.

FR is more than a foot note. Throughout the pages it is clear that the archive represents a cyber notepad of refernece materiel and research resulting from activity on FR. FR was the enabler.
