Why did Clinton wait until Dec. 19th, 2000 to push the UN for tougher sanctions against the Taliban?For the same reason he depleted the military and didn't replenish it — to keep a Republican Administration preoccupied with foreign affairs and rebulding the military — and not pay attention to domestic affairs and undong the damage caused by the Left.
