I miss Ollie already. Good of Alan to let Ollie know he only had 30 seconds left...to get in his final message. Why didn't H & C give Ollie more time? He, more than any other FN embed, was there for the troops - and the viewers know it and are very, very grateful, imho. We never got enough of Ollie. Still - I'd sit through 3 hours of puffed-up pundits for 10 minutes of Ollie any night. That's why God allowed the invention of the mute button. {^;

I am down to my last child at home who is a senior, just about to graduate. The other two are married and out of the house, one of which is over there serving his country and helping to assist the Iraqi people. So I don't have to cook like I use to, but I am still adjusting to that.

I caught a good part of the interview. There is a "pain" that goes with the death of someone you love. I didn't see that "pain" on Scott's face. I saw "satisfaction" on his face.

We dont need to send prisoners to wonderful paradise islands.. we need to send them to "prison islands".. cold, barren,
I think they should be spend some time in some of the same minute uncleaned cold concrete cells where they inprisioned others.

Oh I'm not critisizing (sp?) at all! My husband works a different shift (he's home for lunchtime and I'm home for dinnertime) and it's just the two of us, so I don't make huge meals either. Even when I do cook alot of it comes out of boxes! LOL! My brother got the cooking gene- he's a chef. I got the microwave and baking genes.
I love cook books, but so many of the recipes are for 4-6 servings and it just ends up going to waste. I have this fantastic Greek cookbook, but the recipes are HUGH! There is a recipes that make 9 dozen cookies. Who needs that many of anything???
Besides, summers coming and who wants to spend the nice days inside over a hot stove?? Thanks to your son for his service to our country.

It appears that Clinton's advice didn't work.

Amen, Mustang.
Well said.
So much of the past hurt came to be used for good during this war it seemed... Ollie's own previous experiences w/the military and the DC press in Iran-Contra allowed him to fight hard for the troops...to the awesome Vietnam Vets who came out in defense of the military and to stand up to today's protestors..to Freepers who wouldn't let the peaceniks and the leftist press have the only voice in the public square...to FoxNews and Rush, and awesome conservative voices not allowing the socialists to define the story and attack our country w/out a fight. Some things are finally being put right.

I'm monitoring the scroll on CNN. I see comments from Bob Graham.
Graham says Bush must pressure Syria to give up the Hezbollah camps. He says a few 'cruise missiles' may be needed.
To: Consort
LOL!
I just re-read it and must say...no wonder it was all so frenched up!

Greta just announced that, during the G-7 summit, all the world leaders are staying at a resort in the French Alps.
But GWB has booked a room just across the border...in Switzerland!

David Corn is on with Greta. There is not a kernel of truth to anything Corn says.

was finally going to get some work done, too.I missed the breaking story...missing Ollie. (^;
We caught another one, right?
On a side note, re. Micheal RATner - if our military needs our help to sit on a so-called "Human Rights" worker while OUR guys liberate Iraq and take care of the WMDs and terrorists...this Freeper would gladly volunteer...and I'd wear spurs.

BLAIR'S SECRET WAR MEETINGS WITH CLINTON... Tony Blair took repeated secret advice from Bill Clinton on how to unlock the diplomatic impasse between Europe and the US in the build-up to the war... DEVELOPING... What advice might that be, I wonder.
I see a pattern emerging here. First, it was Clinton's military that won the war. Now, it's Clinton that helped Tony grow a spine.
Next, it will be Clinton's reconstruction plan that Rummy's been using.

You go GWB, boycotting the French during the G8 summit. Not staying in France but in Switzerland. Real Americans stick together. Our President leads by example and is a real leader. You go boy.

Do you suppose Corn wears tassel loafers? Silk ties? Is his voice husky?
You can tell I'm from the Midwest, can't you?
