My brother was in the army on the DMZ line for a while and did jamming, etc.. He said there is a place in North Korea called "Propoganda Village" which he could see from the DMZ every night. All the lights come on at once in the city at night and nobody lives there. It is only meant to fool the people in N. Korea. That guy is in his own world there and it is a dangerous situation.

Iraqi's are getting Brit Hume currently. Not sure how much of his program they are getting, but I think I heard they get 2 hours of US news a day, national networks and Brit Hume.

GWB mentioned the M1-A1 exhust weakness and that it was repaired...very classy move, and very cool...

As a hospital chaplain who has been part of the dying process for thousands of people, I can tell you that people know when it is their time to let go.
You Know.
Be it a combination of internal process with the interwoven ever so soft voice of God to the soul.....
You know

Dr. Bob's awesome. (^;
President Bush is pretty awesome, too. Two speeches in one day.
From Lima, Ohio...home of the Abrams tank:
"I have faith in the Iraqi people. They have the resources, the talent and the desire to live in freedom...and they will have a consistent friend - the United States of America."
"To leave a free nation in the hands of free people - that is our goal in Iraq."

On knowing when to let go, yes, they do. My SIL was on life support and in a coma for all we knew for the last few weeks of her life. When my brother went in that morning to take her off of life support, he reached over, put his hands on her shoulders to gently shake her and said "I am letting you go home now, to see Christ" and she smiled.

When NK expressed that they wanted nuclear concessions, Powell should have said concess this you piece of blankety, blank blank.

Earlier I could not post .. not sure if it was broadband problems with FR or more likely my computer needing rebooting.
Seems to be going okay for now..
Going to get a little more sleep.. I had 3 hours sleep this AM .. and that was all in past 48 hours.
Voinovich was not at the 2nd speech.. does anyone know if he has at first? He stated he would not budge on his position which would not fully support the president's tax plan
I am disappointed with Voinovich but guess who is his only opponent so far for the seat in next election?
Jerry Springer..
yup. C
ant you see the senate floor.. with chairs being thrown around???

Wasn't it Madeleine Albright that went chasing after Arafat or someone during some ME peace talks when they walked out? Just know that Powell wouldn't dare do that.

yes, I know the "triple pix".. funny. I think it originated on either this thread or the American the Right Way thread

I agree.
When my father was in his last few days, dying of cancer, I went in to give him a pill that was to help with his urinary tract infection. It was this big horse pill. He told me he was not going to take it, that he didn't need it. I said "You have to take it for your infection". He smiled, shook his head at me, and said "I don't need it anymore". That was the last day he was lucid. The next day, we took him back to the hospital, and he left us the morning after.
