That freckled-faced red head in your profile reminds me of my younger daughter when she was a teenager.

Yes, I see that. When I was doing my pictures I thought about things I might want to eventually post and thought that having a page in word perfect with them "all ready to go"....... is the way I am sure all of you operate.
It is not necessary hard but just time consuming & a little complex for those of us who aren't "detail oriented" by nature.

I am no doubt older than all of you.. If I was included in that, I have hugh and series doubts about that, after looking at your profile!
The pic on mine is, like, way old -- 1969... I wish I still looked like that. I wish I was still in shape like that, too -- I was running 3 miles every day then, and doing a couple hundred sit-ups; today, walking around the block is an adventure for which I spend a half hour getting psyched up :-). I think I remember what sit-ups are...

Well maybe we are contemporary... I graduated from Kent State in 1968
I am listening to Fox (whoopie, I am so glad to have this knowledge, would have been nice during 'action' of war)
Playmates are talking about their communication w/troops

I once had stuff on my profile but I was linking to yahoo photos or ofoto.com and they would sometimes not come through. So I took them off.
I still have yet to learn how to use my Comcast free website.

I HATE the concept of exercise. I do lots of things that I think are fun.. most of them are physically active & so the side benefit is "exercise" .. an 8 letter 4 letter word

I graduated from Kent State in 1968 Wow, Kent State...
I'd never heard of Kent State until May 1970. When "the shooting" happened, I was five or ten miles into Cambodia, but saw it on Armed Forced TV a few days later when I was back on the YRBM I called "home" then...

AOL gives you a free webpage.. but it is limited in size etc. It is paint by numbers (Web pages for Dummies).. so just up my alley.
I have a free account with a friend. Each person gets 7 addresses w/account.
Not sure how long this will go on. Might have to bite bullet & start shelling out $25/mo. As I am not employed (not lazy, just full time taking care of invalid mom..plus 4 other relatives that I do shopping, doctor visits with).. all are relatively poor .. so labor of love. So I have to really watch spending for now

I think that the peaceniks were hoping for another Kent State incident. They didn't have the draft to spur them on.

My ex ( 69 KSU grad) was in Yankee Station on the USS Shangri La at that time. Jets/ pilots bombing various locations.
The 1970 shootings put KSU on the map in an unfortunate way.
I recall you prior comments a few nights ago with Kip re: cambodia.. What a shame. The few folks I have met are so gentle and sweet.
slaughter of the innocents.
I am glad GWB will do all he can to make sure that does NOT happen in Iraq

Might have to bite bullet & start shelling out $25/mo. At powweb.com (no interest here, just a customer), you get a website with your own domain name, unlimited email addresses, 500MB of storage, fast servers, etc., for $100 a year... You have to know a little bit about setting it up, but they have a forum with lots of help -- great way to learn it all, if you don't do it for a living. You get 25 or 30GB of transfer, too, so posting pics on FR doesn't get you cut off.
