The list of the dissidents names and lenghth of their sentences is an eye opener. I keep thinking about the so-called "peace protesters" here who think they are being so brave by laying down and blocking traffic and trashing the buildings at their "rallies" sponsored by the communist party.

They should take a lesson from the REAL PROTESTERS, whose names you have listed here. These are the brave people who risk everything to defy Castro's regime. I am always fascinated by people like this, who are willing to put, even their own safety and well being , on the line for the greater good, and to tell the true story. God Bless them.

Anytime I see anything about Cuba, I am reminded of the terrible Holy Saturday morning,( the day before easter Sunday ) when I heard my mom yelling from the living room, she was yelling and crying at the TV image of Clinton's goons dragging kicking and screaming, poor little Elian from his home at the end of a machine gun. Then all the photo's of him being "held for his security" at Camp David. And all the photo's where he looked drugged. I will NEVER FORGET THAT EVER, it upset my whole family, that Easter Sunday. But, in total irony, Elian's plight is why we have George W. Bush as President today, and most importantly , why Al Gore WAS NOT president on 9/11.

"One revolution is still necessary; the one that will not end with the rule of its leader. It will be the revolution against revolutions, the uprising of all peaceable individuals, who will become soldiers for once so that neither they or anyone else will ever have to be a soldier again."---Jose Martí

Listing of dissidents arrested in Cuba, and their sentences: Independent Journalists......

I don't suppose that the CNN Havana Bureau is asking the Cuban Information Ministry too many hardball questions about this, are they?

You have to see where CNN is coming from though. Those CNN fluff pieces about how Cuban cigars are hand rolled, about how Cubans can keep a 1953 Chevy running for half a century and about how old Cuban musicians are so cool are certainly worth prostituting your journalistic integrity for.

Those dissidents are 75 reasons why we should take out Fidel Castro. Reasons 76 through 280,000,076 are the American lives that are endangered by the international terrorism supported by Castro's regime.
