It may be rock n'roll, but we don't like it

CHICAGO (AFP) - Their albums may have gone platinum but a concert by popsters Creed left some fans distinctly unimpressed -- so much so they sued for a refund.
Four fans that attended a December 2002 concert by Creed outside Chicago filed a class action lawsuit in circuit court here Monday seeking two million dollars in damages from the band, its promoters, and the ticket-sellers.
The disgruntled concertgoers allege in court papers that the band's lead singer Scott Stapp was so "intoxicated and/or medicated that he was unable to sing the lyrics of a single Creed song."
"Instead ... Stapp left the stage on several occasions during songs for long periods of time, rolled around on the floor of the stage in apparent pain or distress and appeared to pass out while on stage during the performance."
The rocker's condition was clearly a result of an earlier drink or drugs binge, but the other band members and the concert promoters decided to press on with the concert anyway, the suit alleges.
The band later apologized to fans for any disappointment caused by "the most unique of all Creed shows," but urged them to remember "It's only rock and roll," in a message posted on their website.
But that doesn't appear to have cut much ice with the four plaintiffs who are looking to recoup the 227 dollars they shelled out on tickets and parking fees.
In total the suit, filed in Cook County Circuit Court, seeks in excess of 2 million dollars for the 15,000 fans who attended the December 29 concert at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, from Creed, Ticketmaster (the organisation that sold the tickets) and promoters, Jeff Hanson Management and Promoters Inc.
Was it you - or them?
"The days" for me happened circa 1970. Age 16, the Spectrum in Philly, my first concert: Humble Pie, Black Sabbath, and Mountain. A few months later, Black Sabbath bounced back across the country and was the headliner this time, with Humble Pie and Alice Cooper opening. THOSE were the days.
Thirty-three years later I see The Osbournes on TV and I can only shake my head....
To act in accord with what you say the scriptures dictate, I would FIRST have to agree that Hinn is anointed in order to avoid "smearing" his name.
Apparently, you believe he is anointed. I, on the other hand, have never heard of the dude in my life. Are you about to tell me that I am in danger of being on the wrong side of the Almighty if I say his hair looks funny?
Not that I have it memorized or anything, but wasn't it David who said that?
