That's great! I live in a neighboring county (Alachua), where we seem to have no black Republicans at all. The black population is owned by the Democratic party, to the extent that some candidates from predominantly black parts of Gainesville run unopposed. Needless to say, this is terrible for their districts, because these politicians have no incentive to do anything at all for their constituency.

The black population is owned by the Democratic party, to the extent that some candidates from predominantly black parts of Gainesville run unopposed.It's not just the blacks who are owned by the Rats in Alachua County, it's the entire county (I lived there several years while getting my degree from UF). The voter registration breakdown was something like 70 - 30 Rat when I was there - I'll bet it's even more lopsided now. That's pretty much all you can expect from a county where half the people live in a university town.
