As I recall, no charges were filed against Johnson by the Germans. The cover story was that Johnson is married to a very wealthy woman, and it is not illegal under German law to be carrying large sums in various securities, etc. (The implication being that if it was all cash, the Germans might have looked more closely.) Johnson was even on Larry King one night explaining himself. Don't know what he said, because I only tuned in for a fraction of a minute.

More than likely if it was in numbered accounts, we have recovered it for the people of the new Free Iraq.

For a couple of weeks, I have been posing a simple question but a realistic one. What if the rich Soddomite Iraqis who fled to Syria or Russia are not longer rich? Their number accounts have been found and drained.

I doubt if the the Syrians and Russians would value them as guests any more.
