Most democrats do not want to require ANYTHING for voter registration. Not even a driver's license. That discriminates against minorities who don't have drivers licenses. There are not many states that currently have same day voter registration. Minnesota is one of them and California just voted it in but I can't think of many others. It's a bad, bad idea.

We'll have to agree to disagree. However, in the few states that have it currently, it has worked well, by increasing turnout, with no evidence (thus far) of voter fraud. I will let that stand as proof.
